ASD Metal brought their HR directors out to experience leadership the ‘learning-to-listen’ way. They studied the art of ’setting up their environments for success’ and gained a new appreciation for the benefits that come from connecting with, and empowering their teams! These guys went away not only understanding their strength zones but with practical skills that will enable them to be far more effective in their teams both at work and in life in general; all ingredients for explosive growth! Well done for taking risks!
Anna Twinney and Sarah Kreutzer examined Alex Pearson and Sarah Ellis who were hoping to achieve a pass in their Learning to Listen Instructor Exams. Alex and Sarah have been working hard with six students this last year to train them on the Introductory Course in Natural Horsemanship, and were examined on their teaching techniques. Even though the snow had fallen spirits were high and the day was a great success!!
What a wonderful day we had yesterday with our Intro students doing their exams. I had taken the 6 ladies to a field in the middle of no-where, where they were presented with 5 2-3 year old colts. They had been halter trained as foals and feet done but little more. The students as part of their exams were asked to add value in 3 different ways to their horses life.
Here is a clip of how wonderful the ponies were. I just love the untouched horses as they are so inquisitive and easy to train. Watch out for the blog of the students 2 days of exams and their results!

Today i went for my first horse riding lesson with Sarah. I learned how to sit up straight, how to get on and off, how to do rising trot, go round corners and steer the horse. It was a lot to take in but i got there in the end. The man there was called Richard and he was lovely. I was a bit scared at first but i got the hang of it in the end. I had a really good morning, THANKYOU SARAH! :)) X

I went to the blue cross and i thought that it was dead good. We asked a lot a questions and shizzle and the Claire the lady who worked there anserwed them. One of the questions was what qualifercations will i need to work here? She answered ‘you dont need any’ it was at that point i realised that a job that dont need any qualifercations will take anyone on - but also not pay very well, so im looking at other options. So we asked lots questions, got answers, looked around, held puppys and nearly ended up bringing half a dozen kittens home with us. the place was so clean and the animals were really well looked after. Larvley :)) xxx
I am gonna work ded hard at scool to try and get a good job that pays well wen im older
