Hi Everyone,
Well aren’t we just having the most crazy time. 8 days to the Open Day & my wonderful team are working every hour day & night, then to top that who should ring on Friday Ofsted. We’d just like to come & do an inspection on Wednesday. Yea no problem except the place is in a big hand over from old buildings to new. Trying to get everything back in place 4 days faster now is asking alot of everyone. I’ll let you know how we got on.
It was mine & Rob’s 5 year wedding anniversary yesterday. Can’t believe it, it has gone so fast. He bought me flowers & took me for dinner to The Blue Lion, there’s romance there still!
The picture above is of Rob & I with Thandie Newton when she visited our farm. She has been in loads of movies, Mission Impossible 2, In The Pursuit Of Happiness, Crash & more. What a wonderful person. You will be able to see pictures of her on the wall in our new building as she came & spent the whole day with the kids.
‘If you deliberately plan on being less than you are capable of being, then I warn you that you will be unhappy for the rest of your life’ (Abraham Maslow)
I think someone up there thinks I can do more in this world because everytime I think we’re there something else comes along to show me we have a long way to go yet!
Well that’s it for me I’m off to watch a movie on the sofa infront of the fire.
Take care everyone

Hey All,
How has your day been? Ours has been very productive & fun. The kids are back into the swing of things & seem to be getting on great with our new teacher Chris Kitson. He worked for the PRU in Harrogate & at Nidderdale High School. He is trying to get his head around the concepts & is realising that by the time the kids come to us things need to be done differently. He’s doing great & I can’t wait until you meet him.
I really want to tell you all about The Warrior Programme but I’m a bit tired tonight so I might wait until next week. People must be starting to hear what we’re doing up here as I have had people ringing from all over the country & a lot of them who work with kids is some way. Even had the fire brigade ringing. How exciting.
Jeanine is feeding us all so well at the moment it’s great. We all sit down together at lunch time with the kids then again at night when we’ve done a bit. It’s just great this time leading up to the Open Day.
Well I think I’m going to turn in I’ll just leave you with this thought….

Hey Everyone,
How was your day today? I hope life is treating you well.
We have had another great day up here. I just have the best team. They are all working so hard at the moment. Thank goodness for Jeanines cooking & a cold beer. We have become such a close team working all day together then all eating together at night, putting our new building to full use. I just love them all so much & can’t wait for you all to meet them. LtL wouldn’t be where it is now if it wasn’t for this team.
We had our Open Day helpers meeting tonight. We have 40 volenteers this year, amazing people. We couldn’t do it without their help. We thought this year we were going to down size the open day but it has taken a bit of a U-trun & seems to be running away with us at the momnet. I think I drive Alex crazy, coming up with stuff I want to try out all the time.
I don’t think I have told you about Jane McPhearson - Soul Soothers. Jane is doing crystal healing & balancing your chakra’s. She is also a Reiki Master & has been giving me Reiki recently. A really lovely lady. Her workshops are open all day for private sessions or small groups. Book early to get a place. Remember all the workshops are FREE so make the most of them. Ask lots of questions to all of these ladies so you can get a really good understaning of this kind of work.
Well I’ve just got back from dinner with Ang & Judi, two of my best friends, who you will meet on the open day. I am quite tired now as it is 11.50 & I hear my bed calling…. or is that my husband….. one wine too many maybe?
I’ll bid you farewell now & leave you with this thought…. ‘If everything in life was easy, what would we learn?’

This is Me, Wiz & Musha. Do you know how hard it is to mow with this lot on the mower! I have a thing about my grass.
Good Evening All,
Have you all had a great day? We have been hard at work up here but all got to celebrate the new building being finished. The computers have been moved in & Jeanine cooked for us all tonight so we ate in our new dining area. How exciting. It looks great & to think it was our first feed & tack room with holes in the roof, no windows & a very old door. It’s good to stop & remember how far you’ve come sometimes. Wiz went back to school today & Han has exams. Yuk. What a wonderful Easter we’ve all had. I wish they could stay at home all the time.
School lads are back tomorrow. They seem to have had good holidays & still want to come to school. That’s always a good start. We have lots of exciting ideas for this school term. I can’t wait to hear what they think.
Talking of kids one of the other workshops we have going on is our own team offering advice on getting along with kids. This can be anything from 2yrs upwards. They can talk to you about how the same concepts apply to the horses & they will offer a listening ear & support. Sarah has been with me for years now & does a great job with the boys. Chris has just joined us from the PRU in Harrogate & has lots of experience with helping children that have been excluded from mainstream education. John will be there to show you around the joinery workshop & Rob, my husband will be on hand to answer any questions you may have he is also brilliant with the lads. This is the first year we have really opened up this area so it’s very exciting really. But remember we are a school based on a farm. We try not to make it look like a school & not feel like a school.
Well that’s it for me tonight I’m quite tired now. Until tomorrow…

Hey Everyone,
How’s it going? Did you all have a great weekend? We all did. Rob & I took Han & her boyfriend to dinner & the movies. We went to see Fast & the Furious. Loved it. We then went for brunch at my mums on Sunday morning & sat in the sun for an hour. Wonderful. Then back to the grind stone, mowing, strimming, weeding, painting…… never ending. Karen called down tonight & brought cake…. the pounds are just piling on!
Well things are really hotting up here now. We have 11 people doing workshops on the Open Day, and each one of those people are doing at least 3 workshops each. You are all going to be busy this year.
I have told you about Julia doing Angel Card readings, Tessa doing pain relief treatments, Nicki doing Aura readings, Jane K with the arrow breaks, Anna-Louise & her new book ‘The Soul Whisperer’ & inspirational talks. So who is next… Pat Ki. Pat is very well known in the area for lots of things. She does wonderful oils, massage, I could really do with one! Pat is going to be giving mini massages & quantum touch on the day as well as a demo on massage & oils with horses. I think I’m going to need a bigger place soon!
New building is nearly ready - well ready enough to put the new flat screen TV on the wall with music blaring anyway. I am really sorry if we have missed your calls to. The phone never stops at the moment but we can’t always get to it if we’re with horses or clients. Sorry, but keep trying or leave a message & we’ll get back to you.
I’ll be back tomorrow

PS At least the horses looked relaxed

Al on her party night. Beautiful eh!
Hello All,
I hope you are all well & good & looking forward to the weekend. We are as we have even more people & their horses coming. I hope the sun shines for them. It was so bussy here today that I couldn’t even get my car out of the drive way. People were parked everywhere, even on my grass! I have a thing about my grass, I have lovingly cared for it for 8 years & now it looks like a bowling green - with skid marks.
I treated all my clients & their horses to Reiki today & a slamon & salde lunch. We have just had the most amazing time over Easter. I will miss them all very much.
The place looks like a bomb has hit it, but to be honest I don’t think anyone has really noticed. We are doing so much learning at the moment it makes me buzz. So who should turn up today out of the blue - Becky, then Katie. Talk about Law of Attraction. To have my best students all in one room challenging the new ideas was just unreal. I loved it. Just the best feeling ever, I am so proud of them all & we are all hoping to take some time out soon to spend together on this new stuff.
Something I learn’t today. I have been talking about it a lot but to really get to grips with it is something else. One of the big chats we were having tonight. Why are we always in the want? If we never expected anything from anyone, including our horses, wouldn’t we be happier? I think we would be. As it’s only when we expect or want something from others & we don’t get it that we become disapointed or angry. It’s like we are needing something else to make us happy! So this is my quote for tonight….
‘The only person that can make me happy is me’
I went to see my teacher today. What a wise person. I want to be wise….
Speak to you all soon
Take care

This is Jody. Great kid & helps us a lot with the ponies.
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all well today. I’m a bit tired tonight so I’m to going to make this a quick one. Tracy & Katie did well today. The last experience that Tracy had with Katie was her spinning in a circle & throwing Tracy into a fence. I can totally see how this has happened. Tracy told me she doesn’t want to be caught. She does the wall of death in a stable & is really aggressive, coming at you with ears flat back. Well I didn’t see that horse today, so I guessing the way we are doing things here works for her. Tracy caught her many times, she was lovely in the stable & even let us touch her all over. Day 3 tomorrow.
Karen & Maestro had a bit of an emotional set back today. They are both so much happier with the trailer & we feel like Maestro is napping & has little if no issues with the trailer. He used to do it riding to I hear.
We are trying to progress the relationships to such an extent that we need NO equipment what so ever. This next journey that I would like to take LtL on is going to be amazing. So my question to you would be, ‘How do you get your horse on the trailer without using anything?’
Another lady coming to the Open Day is Anna-Louise Haigh. She has just published her book ‘The Soul Whisperer’ I thought this fit in really well with our day. Anna-Louise will be giving 3 workshops & signing her new book. Ang, Jeanine & I did a Soul Coaching course with Anna-Louise earlier this year - interesting stuff!
Well if you don’t mind that’s me for the night, I’ll just leave you with this quote.
‘A Cherokee grandfather talking to his grandson. The grandfather explains: “there are two wolves that live within each of us. One is filled with anger, hate, lust, envy, jealousy and outrage at the injustices done to him. The other is filled with compassion, kindness, humility and understanding.” The grandson asked him: “grandfather which one is the strongest?” and the grandfather answered: “the one we feed.”’
Take care

Hi There,
How is everyone today? What have you all been up to? Well, the kids camp got off to a good start - shame about the fog!
Ceri & Nico had another amazing session - looking forward to those photos. They are above working on building their trust with each other. Ceri was nervous when she arrived with us not really wanting to get on Nico. Look out for the photo at the end.
Tracy brought her other horse today, Katie. They started their work on connection in the field. 3 hours later Katie settled enough to stand with Tracy. Wow. I think Tracy was a little chilly when they came in. Al kept bringing the tea.
Karen & Maestro had another good session. No issue with loading except for being a bit too keen & he had to be asked to not rush past Karen onto the trailer. They are the ones I know about today.
Back to the Open Day. We now have 11 mini workshops on the day. Each one has it’s own times, locations & content. All to help YOU, YOUR HORSES & YOU & YOUR HORSES. This taking some organising. People are already booking so don’t miss out. Ring the office for a workshop schedule. These mini workshops are FREE remember so make the most of them. They are tasters for 1 day clinics we are running throughout this year.
I have told you about the Arrow Break, Auras & Scenar Therapy. If you have missed any have a look at my blogs or go to the Open Day page on this site. So who else do we have coming…… Julia Hopkinson. Very spiritual lady. Told me that I got hit over the head in a previous life - I’m dealing with that. Maybe that’s where my headaches have come from? I have asked Julia to do Angel Card readings for you on the day but she can do so much more so don’t forget to ask her about the clinics she’s doing this year. Julia is doing private sessions for about 15 mins per person. I got a great one - Make A Wish, the thing is all my wishes are coming true so I guess I’ll have to make some more.
We are still looking for horses & people for demostrations on the Open Day.
Don’t they look great.
Take Care everyone & I’ll write again tomorrow.

Hey, How is everyone today? Well I think there’s still 20 mins left. It’s hard trying to keep up with everything at the moment so my blog’s spelling I’m sure will get worse as we get closer to the Open Day.
I’m not sure we could get anything else in a day at LtL at the moment. Al & Sarah were in for their Instructors training day today. I had set up some clients for them to work with & then the clients give me feedback at the end of the sessions. Great stuff, the girls got some lovely feedback. I think they still get nervous when I watch & they see me writing notes. Hee Hee reminds me of when Monty would just turn up at the side of the round pen. The horses always wondered what had happened as the energy went through the roof. Good to keep them on their toes. Sarah worked with Karen & Maestro on loading & travelling. Al worked with Jody & Rooney on spook busting. Sarah worked with Jody & Rodney on leadership. Al worked with Debs & Todd with confidence then they had a lesson with Yvonne. Emma worked with Kerry & Nico. Kerry had become quite nervous of riding Nico & today she was riding him bareback around the school with a halter on. Amazing! Yvonne Brookes was here to give lessons. They all went well & she’s here tomorrow for 6 more! We also had a kids day which was very emotional for us all as one of the ponies that they brought decided to colic on arrival & we had to call a vet out. It’s so hard watching a little girl break her heart over a pony she loves so much.
Then I had my sessions with Tracy & Jo Jo. He had relaxed so much today. Poor Tracy had quite an emotional day too as I think she saw the head tremor for the first time today & now wants to look at the relationship from a completely different angle.
All clients had truly wonderful breakthroughs today, some with themselves & all with their horses. We have run out of tissues.
Tomorrow we have 7 more horses arriving & a kids camp for 3 days. As you can imagine the weeding isn’t getting done as Al & I are working all hours to prep for the Open Day when we’ve finished outside. We are going to look really bad!
I’ve gone on loads so I wont tell you about anyone at the Open Day tonight. But I am still looking for horses for demonstrations & people for my Warrior workshop demonstrations. Let me know if you’re up for it!
Have a good one & if we make it through tomorrow we’ll be back to let you know how we’ve got on.
Take Care
