Birthday Suprise For New Learning To Listen Student

Today i went for my first horse riding lesson with Sarah. I learned how to sit up straight, how to get on and off, how to do rising trot, go round corners and steer the horse. It was a lot to take in but i got there in the end. The man there was called Richard and he was lovely. I was a bit scared at first but i got the hang of it in the end. I had a really good morning, THANKYOU SARAH! :)) X

Blue Cross Inspires Learning To Listen Student

I went to the blue cross and i thought that it was dead good. We asked a lot a questions and shizzle and the Claire the lady who worked there anserwed them. One of the questions was what qualifercations will i need to work here? She answered ‘you dont need any’ it was at that point i realised that a job that dont need any qualifercations will take anyone on - but also not pay very well, so im looking at other options. So we asked lots questions, got answers, looked around, held puppys and nearly ended up bringing half a dozen kittens home with us. the place was so clean and the animals were really well looked after. Larvley :)) xxx

I am gonna work ded hard at scool to try and get a good job that pays well wen im older

Hi my name is Becky, I have just started at Learning to Listen today. I am in charge of the rabbits, the cockerel, the hare, and the pony. I have named the hare ‘Will’, the girl rabbit who is an old lady, ‘Susan’ and the boy rabbit ‘Chip’. I have cleaned them all out , given them food and water, some grass, and I am experimenting with different bedding to see which one they prefer. I have been giving the white rabbit cuddles and its dead cute. Black Jack is a welsh pony. We have been learning to understand each other, playing trust games, and leading him in and out of the obstacles. I also went and fed the herd of horses. We had biscuits and hot chocolate in the School houseafterwards. We had bacon and chicken casserole for dinner. I have met most of the people here and they are all lovely. I have met Sarah, Rob, Janine , John, another Sarah, Robbie, Beccy and Chris. This is going to be my first blog and I am going to do some more. I am also starting a diary. We need a girl belgian hare and we need a girl lion head rabbit because they have been getting frisky with Susan (the old woman rabbit) and she has retired. If anyone can help with this please contact us!!

STOLEN MINIATURE HORSES

APPEAL FOR HELP - We recieved this at Learning To Listen and thought you might be able to help too.

Hi
My two miniature horses were stolen of the night of 29/12/09. I bought Bailey and Tinkerbell 4 weeks ago as a way of getting back into horses after a riding accident 3 years ago which left me paralysed from the chest down and in a wheelchair. They are the ideal size for me to groom and take for walks and I was planning on showing them this year.

I feel with enough publicity and public awareness that my horses will become too “hot to handle” and the thieves will either dump them or come forward to claim the reward.

If you could forward this to anyone you know, add to your website or place on your notice board I would be very grateful as I am completely distraught about losing two very much loved family members.

ANY INFORMATION NO MATTER WHAT SIZE IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. Please contact Surrey Police on 0845 152 2222 and / or Daniel on 07738 826953

Many thanks
Daniel Nicholls
