He also travelled across France with the Princes Trust training horses for the RDA, and spent two weeks at LTL working with the horses in training.
He will be training the horses himself, with guidance from us, in order to build up his skills and confidence.

We have now re-written and relaunched the Learning To Listen Introductory Course in Horsemanship & the Learning To Listen Partnership Course, which are accredited by Lantra Awards.

The Partnership Course is a five day programme tailored to meet the needs of you and your horse. Whether you are a new partnership or have been together years the course will give you a deeper insight into why your horse does what he does, what he’s thinking and what he is trying to tell you. It’s also a lovely way to take some time out from the hustle and bustle of every day life, relax with your horse and learn at the same time.
Upcoming dates are: 12th - 16th October & 9th - 13th November

Our Introductory Course is the only one of it’s kind available. The year long programme covers not only equine behaviour, psychology & LTL’s concepts, it also includes stable management, feeding & nutrition, breeding & stud practice and horse performance up to NVQ Level 3 standard.
The course consists of ten days of training at Learning To Listen, followed by a one year home study period, monthly assessment days and up to two days of theory and practical exams. Throughout the home study period there are both practical and theory case studies and projects to complete. You will leave with a level of understanding you never thought possible.
Upcoming courses begin on 2nd - 6th November

Yes, bizarre I know! About two months ago the crew from C4’s “Gok Wan’s Fashion Fix” arrived at Learning To Listen. They needed a ranch style setting to film 8 lovely ladies from Rotherham road testing different styles of jeans - on a mechanical bucking bull!
We had such a laugh with them all and the film was aired last night. For anyone who missed it you can catch it on http://www.channel4.com/programmes/goks-fashion-fix
