Well firstly, Merry Christmas to you all. I hope you’re all nice and relaxed and ready to enjoy the holidays but imagine if you’re anything like us lot you’ll still be panicking about not having started shopping and not being able to find the time to do it!
I’m not sure if you’ve heard the news or read our emails recently but we have lots of news.
As of January, me and the horse training will no longer be here. I am heading off on a little journey of my own for a while to hopefully rediscover my passion for dancing. I will however still be around plenty as I’ll be teaching my students on their assessment days and socialising with my great friends up here. And if you want to chat about finding a trainer then don’t hesitate to give me a call.
So with me goes the horse training. It’s all been perfect timing as it allows Sarah to focus on the area she is really in love with - the horses helping people - through the Warrior Programmes, Schools and Animal Assisted Therapy. Contrary to some of the stories flying around - Learning To Listen is getting stronger and is very much still here.
Don’t forget there is still chance to get your 20% off 2010Â courses booked before Christmas.
Enjoy the weekend

I took 5 of our Introductory Students to Field House Equestrian on Saturday for their monthly assessment day. Sarah Ellis and I set up a mock exam situation, with them each having a horse to work with for the day. They all did really well and Sarah and I were chuffed to see them all taking it on, although we did have some nerves to work through! Also a big thank you to Bill & Vicky for letting us use their yard for the day and providing lots of cups of tea, and thank you to Sharon, Margaret & Fiona for the lend of their horses.
The video shows little bits of what they got up to.
As most of you will know, Learning To Listen has been developing a lot recently.
We have so much more knowledge now and as a result the products that we have to offer have developed too.
As of January 2010 we will no longer be taking horses in for training. Our Partnership & Introductory Courses will still run, along with Warrior Programmes. The Learning To Listen Schools are also expanding, with the first building blocks of 5 new centres being put into place. We are also introducing Animal Assisted Therapy, where the animals, including the horses, facilitate therapy.
We are very excited about the changes taking place. If you’d like to talk to any of us about the developments & new courses available please contact the office on 01765 689368.
There is a huge 20% off all Warrior, Partnership & Introductory Courses booked before Christmas.
