We went to HillSong, a church just outside of Sydney on sunday morning. It was an amazing experience for us all. Well worth a visit. We then travelled down to Sarah’s home town, Milton, on the South Coast. Staying in an amazing house on MollyMook Beach. Hope you’re all good back at home. Check out the video and we’ll post another soon.

Hi everyone,
Well I’m sorry there haven’t been any more videos, we seem to be havng trouble getting them online.
We’ve had a great few days - feels more like weeks!. We went to HillSong Church just outside of Sydney which was a brilliant experience for us all. We then drove down to Sarah’s home town of Milton on the South Coast and we’re staying in a gorgeous apartment right on Mollymook beach. You’ll be pleased to know we have had rain over here too! We’re now down at Luke Thomas’s watching him working his horses and showing him some of our stuff. It’s very cool to see it all come together. His place is beautiful.
Think we are staying in tonight with a take away and a movie casue we are all shattered then going to climb Pigeon House Mountain tomorrow.
If we can get the videos uploaded we will do asap.

We have arrived safely in Sydney, Australia. We have managed to cram a lot in to our first few days. The flight was easy really, we stopped for showers and massages in Seoul. Not such a hard life really. We landed in Sydney at 8.30am on Thurs 22nd Oct.
We are staying in an amazing appartment right next to Bondi Beach. So we got settled in there and then set off to see the sights. We visited Hillsong Church on the outskirts of Sydney. We are wanting to find a location over here for a LtL Centre and Beccy has great contacts with the church in the UK that knows this church out here. Does that make sense?
So anyway we feel that we have been guided out here to open the centre near Sydney and Beccy will get that going with the help of Hillsong Church. As I haven’t been home for 20 years, it’s quite an emotional journey for me. I have some of the best memories of my life from living out here, so the journey has many angles to it for me.
Well we have done a small video of our trip so far….. I hope you enjoy it. We will be doing as many as we can to keep you all up to date with our progress. We are heading to the Blue Mountains today then down to see Luke Thomas the amazing horseman on Sunday……. Enjoy
Do you remember Max, the little dressage horse who came as he wouldn’t load in to his wagon?
Well, I spoke to Petra the other day who told me she has just affiliated Max and he came 2nd in his first two outings, loading onto the wagon like a pro and all!
And Eric, who was the young Irish chap here cause he was a bit wary is doing great and has more confidence in himself than ever before.
Well, the students have a fair number of horses to work with in November. You may have seen the advert for students to take horses in training for a discount rate, and it got booked up very quickly. We are now full for November which is fantastic, and an Introductory Course starting too, as well as a Warrior course - no chance of standing still around here!
We do have some places left for December and are just about to put together 2010 dates so keep checking online and your emails for those.
I had Claire & Justine here on Saturday and Jo ran a Pony Day for 3 lovely girls. I haven’t seen Claire & Justine for ages and they are both on such emotional journeys at the minute so we spent the day catching up and taking some time out. After talking in the morning about what was going on in their lives I then set them up with a horse each in a paddock and let them just sit. I wanted them to take some time for themselves and get some headspace. I think it worked well. Justine’s little girl Madeline went for a cuddle and Livvie joined in too!
Jo taught the kids about grooming, tacking up, leading & catching, then took them out for a ride on matching ponies BlackJack & Crystal in the afternoon.
I also had a great sess with Sue & Caitlyn on Thursday. I just love how creative Sue is becoming and their relationship goes from strength to strength - Sue walks into the field where Caitlyn is with her friend Janet, says hello and then Caitlyn follows her in to the yard - amazing. The process back to riding is a steady one but I really beleive it is right for them - owning horses should be fun, not frightening! They are now moving on to long lining out up the lane to see the traffic and working the Pessoa. Sue’s daughter Hannah is an Equine Phsyio too so they are now putting together lots of things to get Caitlyn fit & strong again.
So, with oly one week until the big trip to Australia we are madly trying to get the training manual finished, the website up to date, car hire & trains booked and clothes bought! Not an easy task I can tell you. Thank god we are only away for 10 days!
Well I’m heading out now to work with Judith & her horse Dancer.
Take care
Alex
Evening
I’m not sure where to start with it all tonight so if this is a bit jumbled I apologise.
We have lots of exciting things coming up that you might want to know about so here goes.
We have students in training at LTL from 2nd November till 20th November. So that they have lots of different and challenging horses to learn from we are running a very special offer on horse training of £100 / week instead of £175.
Our final Intro Course of the year has one place left remaining on it, from 2nd - 6th November. We are really excited about starting this course as we have just revamped it all, giving you an amazing insight into the world of the horses and how best we can help them. For more info on the course content click here.
There is also a Partnership Course running from 9th - 13th November. I always think the Winter is a brilliant time to look at your relationships with your horses and iron out any niggling issues so you’re then set up and rip roaring ready to go for the Spring.
And of course we are still running our Saturday Kids Clubs and one day clinics for anyone needing a shorter course or just fancies trying it out.
For more info on any of our courses, clinics or training call Alex on 01765 689368 or email info@learningtolisten.co.uk
